Version v0.9.25W9 is now available !

In this release (v0.9.25W9):
  • Fixed: Filter Query (either me or IQ acting up)
  • Fixed: InfoQube constant using 5% CPU, even when in background (also lots of Context Switches and GDI)
  • New: Improved look:
    • Removed: Ecco-style bullets (sorry folks... must move on and simplify things )
    • Changed: + / - are shown for the expand / collapse button.
    • Items without sub-items no longer have bullets
  • Fixed: Faster grid load and updates
  • Changed: Edit -> Find is now an MDI form and shown just like other grids. In fact, it can be seen as a dynamic grid, with editing done in the Properties Pane or the HTML pane. It is recommended to uncheck "auto-close" to keep it open. Feedbacks are welcomed !
  • Fixed: For a long list of items, collapsing the hierarchy (such as Ctrl+1) can show an empty grid (see Problems with W8)
  • Changed: When entering filtering criteria "is null" and "is not null" syntax is changed to "=null" and "<>null" to make it consistent with other comparisons. For yes/no fields, true / false can also be used: check =false, or check =true
  • Fixed: Infoqube is eating my PDFs! [solved with W9]
  • Changed: Filter applies to sub-items menu was moved to the sourcebar and uses the same commands as the column filters. Same for Sort applies to sub-items
  • Fixed: Properties Pane: Ctrl+C copied the complete cell, not just the selected text
 Enjoy !

Download Link on main page not working for me. <Left of table>
Link inside the table <capsule graphic> that works ok

BTW, I really like the + / - symbols.
It cleans up the view
I suppose there will be times will want bullet points for TLI's but I guess that could be accomplished w a template

Re: Version v0.9.25W9 is now available !

Could someone pls do a couple of screenshots pls of the grids sans Ecco-style bullets?
I'd really like to see how it looks before committing

Thanks

 Here is an example:

n.b. Having bullets on every item may be re-enabled, later on, as an option... based on user feedback. But for now, less clutter is the direction !

Re: Version v0.9.25W9 is now available !

is this also going to print bullet-less, or are the bullets retained when printing?

I like it. Much, much clearer.

Re: Version v0.9.25W9 is now available !

Hope it's not bad to revive an old thread ... but I just want to say I like for items to have a bullet whether or not they have subitems.  For me it is a usual visual cue of the boundaries between items.  I know there are other cues but for me the bullet is the best cue.  There is something jarring about seeing an outline of items where some of the items have bullets and others do not.   I understand others liking fewer bullets but it would be nice to have the option.

Re: Version v0.9.25W9 is now available !

I really like the new "find".  Is there any reason on the do the "advanced find" the same way?
Also a big thumbs up for the expand/collapse changes. IMHO it's the best iteration yet. (And it looks good)

Re: Version v0.9.25W9 is now available !

Hi Keith ! Happy to see you here !
I agree with you : the new "find" is great. Fits better with the rest of the UI, and it's good to have the grid open at all times ready to do some work!
