IMO, noone from the names in pool is good enough for new name.
Maybe Versatio ... but it's too deep in mind and not so clear and simple understanding word, especially for non-English people.
My suggestions for new name:
DataLiner / DataOutLiner
InfoLiner / InfoOutLiner
It's like a mix of Data/Info manipulations in Outliner manner...
It's something streaming, dynamic ... like AviaLiner :-)
It's simple for understanding even without knowing of English language (Data + Line we feеl what it is. Yes? :-)
And ... It's Free! (there are no other software with such names, as Google show)
And some thoughts about choosing new name:
1. It's Very Important for future of product (it's marketing in did ;-)
2. Forget about *some/any/different* Notes - there are tons of programs with similar names. Don't mix with others! Be unigue! Yes, I understand the start name SQLNotes (first time I think - it's some program for Notes in SQL database style). But when I read about this program, esspecially in relation with Ecco Pro, I see clear - SQLNotes much better and WILL BE FAR BETTER than *other* software for just manipulation with Notes (and it's not so important for me in which type database - SQL/ODBC/ets), I'm not technical specialist and most of future users are the same. So, I focuses on "Notes"- part in the name, but ... in fact it's not the Note Software, it's much more.
3. It's NOT a PIM in general, it's much more powerfull. As I understand the idea of PPL when he started this project, it's a power mix of:
PIM + Notes + Database + Sharing + DataExchange + some more in user custom style.
So, PIM is a part of all possibilites. And now SQLNotes really don't look like usual PIM (when you start and begin put tusks, to-do's, alarms and notes).
4. I'm sure that author of this program (PPL) must choose new name by himself, without any pools. Why? I remind you what David Ogilvi (one of the best advertising specialist at all times) thought and said about such sutuations in business - when several or many people try to make decision about specific questions, they will get not really better decision or can't get at all. And in many cases he didn't work with such customers at all (when not one person makes decision). Usually you can't get the real good brandnames, when you asking people on the street. It's a practice.
So, PPL after starting this software project on base of HIS idea (not "from pool" idea) and after doing a lots of job must go by his way and choose the name by himself (from different suggestions that here present)
I'm sure you can do that!
