Yeah! Firefox Extension!
Modified By armando on 11/12/2008 9:27:48 PM)

The Firefox extension for clipping web pages is great! Things are looking good!

(posted here because I can't reply in the announcement section... Go InfoQube, Go!!!!)

For those who want to use it : in Firefox --> tools --> addons --> install --> go to your InfoQube/sqlnotes folder, pick the "InfoQubeFFExtension.xpi" extension, restart Firefox. That's it.

Select something on a web page. Right-click : pick one of the 2 InfoQube options.... :)

Re: Yeah! Firefox Extension!

Edited previous post.

BTW, the wiki has been updated to explain how to use the extension. http://sqlnotes.wikispaces.com/WebClipper

Clearly explained. Go get it!

Thanks Pierre!

Pierre : everything works as explained. Except the multiple clipping in the same item, IF/WHEN you stay in the same web page and clip different sections.

Otherwise, really, I'm impressed.

Re: Yeah! Firefox Extension!

He's updating the wiki once again, there is even configuration options for it.  Awesome! (I wonder if it could pick up firefox extension scrapbook stuff directly eventually?)

Can you explain in more details the problems with multiple clippings, as it works OK when I try it

Re: Yeah! Firefox Extension!

OK. It works. Sorry sorry sorry about that.

I don't know what I did the first time. I'll try to reproduce the problem in the next few days...

Re: Yeah! Firefox Extension!

dont know if this a bug - just got to try the ext today (FF3)

clipped Armando's post (unintentionaly as MHT) on wikitags from this page

www.sqlnotes.net/Forums/tabid/54/forumid/2/threadid/5472/scope/posts/threadpage/2/Default.aspx

ended up with with a lot of html (?) code like this:

Create a link to a wikitagged item (similar process for any links):

<!--[if !supportLists]-->1.    <!--[endif]-->Right click on an item and select the hyperlink icon (icon looks like a chain link)

<!--[if !supportLists]-->2.    <!--[endif]-->In the “hyperlink window” :  1- enter the text you want to see in your item field, 2- in the “file, grid…” textbox, enter the {example}

<!--[if !supportLists]-->3.    <!--[endif]-->tag (with the brackets please).
